Jay Bothroyd

As a former professional international footballer - Jay began his career at Arsenal and went on to play in the Premier League for WolverhamptonWanderers and Arsenal – making 62 appearances in the world’s topflight league.

He then moved Cardiff City Charlton and QPR, with 260 starts in the Championship before playing in Italy and Japan. While at Cardiff, he made his full England debut in 2010 and became the first player to score forEngland whilst playing in the Championship, which topped off a standout season in which he scored 20 goals for Cardiff City.

Since retiring, Jay has carved out a career as an established pundit across all the major broadcast networks, Sky Sports, BBCSport, and Optus Sports in Australia. His experience and extensive knowledge of football both at club and international level comes through naturally onscreen, whether he is pitch-side or in-studio.

In addition to football, Jay is passionate about golf and has partnered with Adidas and TaylorMade to make golf more accessible to young audiences and mainstream sport.
